MedClock (Android package com.relogic.medclock) is developed and operated by
Qubiqe Technologies ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the
MedClock mobile app collects, why, where it is stored, and how you can remove it.
For any privacy question or request, contact qubiqetechnologies@gmail.com.
MedClock works fully offline. If you never sign in, nothing you enter ever leaves your phone. Signing in is optional and exists only so your medicines and history can be backed up and restored on another device.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and the app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
Collected only if you choose to create an account or sign in:
Accounts are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password; it is managed entirely by Firebase.
This is the information you type into the app:
Sound, vibration, snooze length, and theme settings. These are stored on your device only and are never uploaded, even when you are signed in.
| Data | Signed out / "Skip" | Signed in |
|---|---|---|
| Medicines & dose schedule | On your device only | On your device, plus a synced copy in Firestore |
| Dose history ("taken" records) | On your device only | On your device, plus a synced copy in Firestore |
| Email, name, photo URL | Not collected | Firebase Authentication |
| App preferences | On your device only | On your device only |
On your phone, data is kept in a private local database that only MedClock can read.
When you are signed in, the same data is mirrored to Google Cloud Firestore under a
document keyed to your account (users/{your-account-id}). Security rules on
that database allow only your own signed-in account to read or write that data — no other
user can reach it.
Under the GDPR, our legal basis is your consent, given when you choose to create an account and enter your medicines. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising or marketing. The only third party that processes it is:
The PDF adherence report is generated on your phone. It is shared only when you tap the share button yourself and choose where to send it.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM)
— a medicine reminder is only useful if it arrives at the right minute. Android requires
this permission for alarms the system is not allowed to delay for battery saving.
Data on your device stays until you delete the medicine, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Data in Firestore stays until you delete your account. There is no automatic expiry — we keep nothing longer than you want us to.
If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the rights below. We honour these requests for everyone, wherever you live.
All traffic between the app and Google's servers is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data stored in Firebase is encrypted at rest by Google. Access is restricted to your own account by server-side security rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as possible so there is little to lose.
MedClock is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app's release notes.
MedClock is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The first-aid guides included in the app are general information only and are not a substitute for emergency services or professional care. Always follow your doctor or pharmacist, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.
