This page explains how to permanently delete your MedClock account and everything stored with it. There are two ways to do it — pick whichever suits you.

This cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your medicines, schedules, and dose history are gone for good. We cannot restore them.

Want to keep a copy first? Open the app and go to Profile → Caregiver support → Share report to export your full adherence history as a PDF before you delete anything.

Option 1 — Delete it in the app

The fastest way. Deletion is immediate.

Open MedClock and make sure you are signed in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the Data & Privacy section.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm your identity — enter your password, or re-confirm with Google if that is how you signed in.
Tap Permanently delete account.

Your account and all of its data are removed straight away, and the app returns to the welcome screen.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

Use this if you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in. Send an email from the address your account was registered with — that is how we verify the request is really yours.

Email a deletion request

We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request, and reply to let you know it is done.

What gets deleted

Data	What happens
Your account (email address, and name and profile photo URL if you used Google Sign-In)	Permanently deleted from Firebase Authentication
Your medicines and dose schedules	Permanently deleted from our database
Your dose history ("taken" records)	Permanently deleted from our database
Data stored on your phone	Erased immediately when you delete in the app. If you delete by email, remove it yourself by uninstalling MedClock or clearing its storage in Android settings.

What we keep

Nothing. We do not retain a copy of your medicines, history, or account details after deletion. Any residual copies held in our infrastructure provider's routine backups are purged within 30 days.

We keep no anonymised profile, no analytics record, and no marketing list — because we never collected any. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Using MedClock without an account

MedClock works fully offline. After deleting your account you can keep using the app by choosing Skip on the welcome screen — your medicines will then stay on your phone and nothing will be uploaded.
